October Crafts

Autumn evenings and sunny teabreaks.......the perfect time for yet more crafting.
(It doesn`t matter what time of the year it is really)
Our Macmillan coffee morning went very well and I sold quite a few crafts.
Now we are building up to the
12 Hour Sing
on Saturday 18th October
at St. John`s Church, Brittany Road, St leonards on Sea
11 a.m to 9.30 p.m
all for St. Michaels Hospice.

I have made 5 fairy dolls for my craft stall there.

Some old friends came to our coffee morning and reminded me that I used to make Christmas clowns years and years ago. She still had hers and hung it on her tree every year.
I found the old pattern and made ten.

An earlier project was to make toys from some special clothes for seven special children
and here they are.

Lots more ideas in the offing to try out.
Some involve helichrysum flowers and organza ribbon and others.....more fairies...... but tiny ones.

  1. Just lost the thread so to speak. thanks Jennie for the wonderful pictures and those delightful fairies along with the grinning clowns. Think we all need a few of those. The cuddly animals for the children will surely be re-homed by now. Hope your Sat. at St. John went well for you all. Love M
