The Red Pig

On Saturday we went to Camber Sands for a lovely family picnic on the dunes.

The sun shone, we flew kites, made sandcastles and played ball games.

This is a great place for campers to visit when they stay at Freshwinds Camping.

On the way home, we noticed that the Red Pig trailer was at the lakes at Pett Level.

My nephew had been wanting to stop and try the food there for ages,

 so here was the opportunity.

It is there at weekends.

Another great place to visit if you come camping.

The trailer was built by the owner in the style of a shepherd`s hut.

You can sit outside or inside and the views all round are fantastic.

The owners are based in nearby Rye.

My nephew chose the Pett Leveller with home-made chilli sauce and REALLY enjoyed it. Steve and I were a bit boring and just had tea.....but we will certainly be stopping here on one of our walks in the future.

I am loving the decor.
