The warmest "carols in the barn" that I can remember, well attended and special as always.
This year there was a lot more space as it was arranged on the other side of the barn, with much easier access. The cows were on the far side, the sheep were in a pen by the Christmas tree and Rosie and Alice the donkeys, brought in the children dressed for the nativity.
We were seated on bales with straw underfoot.
I took some film but now I wish I had taken photos as the camera couldn`t cope with the dark.
Wendy led the carols.
As the children arranged themselves in the "stable" it was clear from the photo that there was a strong orb presence over Wendy.
As the familiar carols were sung..........
........Tim and helpers prepared mulled wine and mince pies.

Father Christmas came, much to the excitement of all the children.

There is no doubt that this is a very special event on the village calendar.
All proceeds from donations will go to Farm Africa.
Lovely. Looks very Christmasy despite the weird warm weather.
