Today`s post is all about butterflies.
It has been a very warm day and the buddliea in my brother`s garden is fully open.
If you have ever wondered whether to get this shrub, have no hesitation in doing so.
The reward, apart from the honey scent, is clouds of butterflies.
Position the shrub near a seat in the sun, then sit back and enjoy. It is quite heavenly.
Excuse the pun, but some do look a little moth-eaten.....only noticeable on close inspection of the photographs.
So many butterflies now! We did a butterfly count at work and saw 8 peacocks together - fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThey are saying the butterflies are very good this year. I hope the butterfly count proves it. Not seen as many as that at one go but Jamie`s buddliea inspired me to get a new plant....where to put it??
